About Us
Welcome to Light of the World Candle Studio! My name is Nicole Ortiz, and I am the founder of this company born from faith, prayer, and a deep desire to share God's love with the world.
I am originally from the Dominican Republic and have spent over a decade sharing the word of God through media. As a mother of three teens. When I lost my 'stable' job, I turned to God for guidance. It was during this time of uncertainty that God answered my prayers, revealing to me the idea of creating candles.
At first, I doubted, seeing candles as more of a hobby than a viable business. But as I prayed further, God opened my eyes to the powerful symbolism of light and fragrance in Scripture. This simple idea became much more than a business—it became an honor, mission to bring light into the homes of people while sharing the hope and love of Christ.
At Light of the World Candle Studio, we create high-quality, non-toxic coconut wax candles inspired by scripture. Each candle is made with joy, biblical inspiration, and the faith that God’s light shines brightly in our lives. We are committed to supporting the Kingdom of God through our products. A portion of our profits is donated to Crown of Glory, an organization dedicated to bringing hope and the word of God to moms in shelters. We also support evangelists who spread the message of Jesus.
In addition to this business, I am the founder of Crown of Glory and Glorious TV and Podcast a Christian-based online lifestyle vlog. My passion is to help women, especially single moms, know the love of Jesus and find strength in His word.
